Today Only Givenchy

I wore this strapless Givenchy wedding dress for my intimate VT wedding in 2003, but it is timeless and gorgeous.  The fabric is silk and the quality is amazing.  It's a heavier weight silk with some structure to it and a satiny finish.  The ruching adds some dimension to the look and is also forgiving if necessary.  The dress falls to the floor in the front and has a very slight train in the back.  It also has ties inside for a bustle, but since I had the train shortened, they are not necessary.  The dress is in perfect condition.  I wore it for a ceremony and dinner, but there was no dancing, so it was very gently worn.  I had it professionally cleaned after the wedding, and it's been wrapped up since.  I no longer have the receipt, but the dress retailed for about $3,300.  I just took it out to look at it given all of the attention to Givenchy with Meghan Markle having worn a Givenchy wedding dress and thought it might be time to let someone else enjoy it!
