We got hitched in the woods in Minnesota, where I was born and raised. After we got engaged, we sat down and wrote out the things we wanted to really make it "our wedding". Everything outdoors. Root beer floats instead of cake. Flower crowns for my bridesmaids. A polaroid guest book. We had the best day of our lives out in the woods, eating tamales (my husband is from Costa Rica) and dancing outdoors with our dearest friends under the trees, glittering with lights!
It was truly a magical day, and I hope you can continue the magic on the day you tie your lives together.
P.S. This dress is the most comfortable thing I have ever worn. I felt feminine, graceful, and free.
