When it was worn: I only wore this dress for the ceremony and pictures. During the reception I wore a shorter gown, so the beading and satin under lay did not get damaged.

What I love about this dress: If you are looking for wow factor, this is the dress for you. I wanted a unique gown that I hadn't seen in any other wedding. This dress did not disappoint. The beading is to intricate and when the light hits it, the whole dress sparkles. The dress comes in two separate pieces - the satin underlay and the beading overlay. The train was perfect for my long veil. From a practical viewpoint, this dress is shockingly light weight for the amount of beading. I was able to put it on myself with no trouble at all and my feet (even in heels) weren't sore throughout the day.

Where the dress was bought: Nolte's bridal boutique in Kansas City, MO. This dress happened to be accidentally included in a Rosa Clara trunk show for her new line the weekend I went to try on bridal gowns. I discovered this dress is hard to come by in the United States. No bridal boutique in New York City, Chicago, or LA had this dress in their store for viewing in spring of 2014, but they could order it from Spain.

The designer photo shows a belted tulle skirt. This is a sold separately piece that I did not purchase. The tulle belt is NOT included in the dress sale.
