I fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it. The mermaid silhouette along with the corset gave me the hourglass shape I wanted, and the ruching throughout was so flattering! I found a pair of fuchsia manolo's that I had to wear for my wedding, and was looking for the perfect satin gown to compliment the shoes. It was such a glamorous look. I wore it with a cathedral veil but it also looked beautiful with a birdcage. I tried on a similar dress by Maggie Sottero but didn't like where the rhinestone appliqué belt hit my waist, and the Demetrios gown just looked more high-end. The satin proved to photograph so well because of how the light hits it, whereas you lose some of the detail with a lace gown. This was the perfect wedding dress!
